By taking care of ourselves first and improving our own self awareness through meditation we become more relaxed and functional parents. The importance of self-care should not be forgotten and you should always schedule “ME TIME” into your day and week. “ME TIME” is at no way selfish and is actually essential in parenting. It allows us to refresh, improve our own self-awareness, and thereby our functionally as a parent.
